인코딩의 강자! 유마일인코딩!

 

 

최근 유행인 소프트웨어는 동영상 인코더이다.

 

MP3가 MP4로 발전하고, 휴대폰, PMP등 휴대용 디지털 제품이 많아지면서 그러한 성향은 더욱 강해지고 있다. 물론 이전부터 좋은 동영상 편집 프로그램들이 있었지만 일반인들이 사용하기에는 버거운 것이 사실이다. 그래서 간단한 동영상 인코딩 프로그램이 인기를 얻고 있는데 대표적인 프로그램이 바닥, 곰인코더이다.

 

하지만 바닥은 오래된 프로그램에 스킨을 씌워놓은 정도이고, 곰인코더는 유료화를 목표로 하고 있어 100% 만족스럽지는 못했다.

 

그러한 가운데 GPL 라이선스를 이용해 만든 유마일 인코더는 주목할만한 프로그램으로 보인다. 우선 GPL 라이선스를 이용해 만들었으므로 공짜이고, 계속해서 기능이 추가되고, 버그가 수정되는 프로그램이므로 바닥처럼 영원히 수정되지 않는 버그가 존재하지 않는다.

 

 

그외에 장점을 이야기하자면 다른 프로그램에 비해 UI 디자인이 이쁘다는 것과 인코딩 속도 또한 곰인코더와 비슷할 정도로 빠르다는 것이다.

 

바닥과 곰인코더에 실망했다면 한 번 받아서 써보자.
